Dr Amanda Garcia is a specialist general practitioner with over 15 years’ clinical experience in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. She is passionate about women’s health, in particular helping couples who are struggling with infertility. She also specialises in Mirena IUD insertion for contraception / HRT / menstrual bleeding control.

Georgia Rigas is a renowned healthcare professional with almost 20 years clinical experience in obesity management and metabolic healthcare, an area she is passionate about.

Georgia is recognised as a National SCOPE Fellow by the World Obesity Federation and is also the first Australian GP to be recognised by the Surgical Review Corporation, as a Bariatric Care Specialist.

She is committed to ongoing education in obesity and advocates for equitable access to effective treatments for people living with obesity.

DR JESSICA JELLINS

Specialist GP – Pre-conception, Contraception, Menstrual Management

Dr Jessica Jellins graduated from University of Notre Dame, Sydney with an MBBS in 2012 and completed her junior medical training at Royal North Shore Hospital. She has worked as an O&G registrar and research Fellow at Royal Prince Alfred and The Canterbury Hospitals as well as having wide experience working in Far North Queensland, Ghana and Chicago (USA). Jessica specialises in women’s health with particular interest in Menstrual Management (including PCOS and PMDD), Contraception (including insertion and removal of Mirena, Kyleena and copper IUDs), Perimenopause and Menopause Management, Sexual Health and Medical Termination of Pregnancy. Jessica has also recently undertaken the Certificate of Vulval Dermatology through the Australasian College of Dermatologists to assist women with Vulvovaginal concerns.

Specialist GP – Women’s Mid Life Health

Dr. Ginni Mansberg is a highly experienced general practitioner with a deep passion for women’s health, menopause management, and all things skin. Beyond her clinical work, she serves as a supervisor in the Discipline of General Practice at the University of Notre Dame Sydney Medical School. Ginni is also an accomplished author, having written five books, including the popular “The M Word: How to Thrive in Menopause”.

Widely recognized as “The Sunrise GP” for her role as the resident doctor on the well-loved TV program of the same name, Ginni has built a dynamic career spanning medical journalism, podcasting, and healthcare consulting. Additionally, she is the founder of her own cosmeceutical skincare line, blending her medical expertise with her passion for skin health.

Dr Joanna Bruce has been a GP for almost 20 years and a doctor for nearly 30 years. She trained in London (UK) as a doctor and a GP before moving to Australia in 2008 to work as a GP and raise her family. Joanna is also involved in training GPs and educating future generations of doctors.

Over recent years, Joanna’s interest in women’s health has increased, particularly perimenopause and menopause care. She is passionate about shared decision-making with patients to improve outcomes and quality of life.

Geraldine Georgeou is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with 25+ years’ experience in the industry. Working from Prince of Wales Hospital, she has contributed to helping the Australian Navy, consulting to Diabetes Australia and been a familiar face in the media.

Geraldine is also the author of “The Gut Foundation Cook Book” and “The Australian Healthy Skin Diet”, and was recently voted Dietitians Australia Extraordinary Dietitian, 2021.

Her expertise in clinical dietetics and nutrition has helped a vast majority of people who have suffered from metabolic and gastrointestinal health issues together with dermatology, rheumatology and disease prevention and management such as women’s’ health, PCOs, menopause, Type 2 diabetes, arthritis, skin health, heart disease and sleep health.

Sophie is an actuary who has spent decades working in the Australian health industry. She is also an AHPRA-registered paramedic.

Sophie and Jo’s shared passion for high-quality women’s health care led them to establish Myma Health together.

Work With Us

We are fully focused on women’s healthcare. Our services include perimenopause, menopause, cervical screening, contraception, painful periods and premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

In the short-term, we are looking for specialist GPs to join Myma Health. We would also like to hear from allied health practitioners with an interest in women’s health and menopause to whom we can refer patients, with the possibility of delivering care as part of Myma Health’s core clinician group in the future.
